Senior Associate

Tatiana is a Senior Associate with the Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (Russia) LLP Tax Practice.

Before joining Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (Russia) LLP, she spent 25 years dealing with tax and customs legislation and currency regulation, including 18 years as head of the Tax Practice of an international law firm in Moscow and working for two of the Big Four.

Tatiana is recommended in Taxes by Best Lawyers editions 2012, 2015-2021 and for many years has been recognised as a recommended practising tax specialist in Russia by Chambers Global, Chambers Europe and Legal 500.

Tatiana focuses on tax law, advising European and international companies (including Russian subsidiaries) on a broad range of Russian and international taxation matters. She also represents these companies in tax disputes, having built up a successful track record of providing clients with legal support during tax audits, both pretrial and in court dispute resolution, including acting for them before tax authorities and courts.

  • Tax support for corporate restructuring of the Russian Federation business of a leading global manufacturer of household and professional equipment;
  • Legal opinions on Russian and international taxation, including for a Russian company belonging to one of the world’s biggest pharma groups, for Europe’s biggest aerospace manufacturer, for a Russian company belonging to the world’s leading group manufacturing car seats, interior features and exhaust systems, for one of Europe’s biggest banks, for a Russian group member of Europe’s biggest helicopter manufacturer and for a Russian company belonging to the world’s leading steel pipe manufacturing group;
  • Successful appeals against office and field tax audit results, including for a Russian group member of Europe’s biggest helicopter manufacturer;
  • Successful appeals against substantial additional tax assessments at the pre-trial stage, including for a Russian company belonging to the world’s biggest industrial gas production group and a Russian group member of Europe’s biggest helicopter manufacturer;
  • Tax auditing;
  • Tax Due Diligence.

Tatiana is a member of the Russian division of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), co-chair of the Committee for finance, investment and security of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Moscow and a member of the Tax Committee of the Association of European Businesses in Russia.

Tatiana graduated in economics from the Russian Government’s Finance University in 1992 and in law from the Russian Federation Ministry of Justice State Law Academy in 2005.
