She specialises in providing legal support for investment projects: construction, acquisition and operation of commercial and industrial real estate, town planning regulations and land relations. Ekaterina also provides legal support and comprehensive legal coordination of day-to-day operations for big manufacturing and commercial facilities of transnational corporations.
Ekaterina also focuses on construction and operation of utility networks, connection of capital structures to the utility infrastructure and supply systems and calculation of connection fees.
Ekaterina is well-versed in matters concerning industrial safety of properties under construction and their subsequent operation.
Ekaterina has an extensive track record of drafting and signing investment agreements for construction of big industrial facilities in the Russian regions, negotiating investment agreements with regional and municipal authorities and supporting their subsequent implementation. Ekaterina takes part in legislative work at the regional level, developing legislative regulations on investing (investment preferences and benefits).

Provided comprehensive legal support for implementing Mars Inc. investment projects in different regions of Russia (selecting plots, acquiring rights to land plots, re-categorising a land plot and changing its type of permitted use, organising and holding public hearings, constructing real estate, obtaining permission documentation, handling industrial safety and licensing issues, etc.);
Provided comprehensive legal support to Kronospan for a project involving the building of a woodworking facility in the Moscow Region (acquiring rights to land plots, public bidding, obtaining permission documentation, handling issues relating to construction, industrial safety, licensing, EBRD financing, etc.);
Provided advice to Komatsu on a project for building a construction machinery assembly plant in the Yaroslavl Region, drafting and signing of an investment agreement with regional and local authorities;
Provided advice to a major bank on infrastructure issues relating to acquired properties located within the boundaries of a technology park in Moscow (connecting to the utility infrastructure, developing and optimising contractual utility supply models for the properties within the boundaries of the technology park, re-distributing capacity);
Provided comprehensive legal support to a major pharmaceutical company for handling infrastructure issues during construction of a plant (constructing utility networks, connecting plant facilities to utility networks, developing network infrastructure of an industrial park;
Provided advice to Mars, Royal Canin, Guardian, Oriflame, Kronospan and Pushkino Logistic Park on connection of capital structures to engineering systems, including systems of industrial parks in different regions of Russia. Provided advice on construction of utility networks, acquisition of rights to land plots for utility networks, formalisation of buffer zones and areas with special land use conditions, as well as issues related to utility supply to capital structures and determination of fees payable for resources consumed.
