Natalia specializes in international arbitration and litigation, including commercial disputes, disputes related to protection of IP rights, antitrust disputes, bankruptcy.
Natalia has significant experience of representing Russian and foreign clients in commercial courts, international arbitrations (inter alia, in front of Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, Arbitration Court at ICC, ICAC, ICSID) and Federal Antitrust Services in Russia.
Alongside with resolution of commercial disputes (arising out of supply agreements, contracts of work and labor, lease agreements, etc.) through arbitration and litigation Natalia takes part in protection of clients’ interests in:
enforcement and recognition of arbitral awards in Russia and abroad;
disputes related to protection of IP rights and personal data;
administrative proceedings at the Federal Antitrust Services (prosecution for unfair competition through usage of IP objects etc.);
in complex bankruptcy proceedings at all stages of the proceedings (inclusion into the register of creditors, participation in meetings of creditors, control of the activities of the bankruptcy trustee, challenges of debtor’s deals, etc.

Successfully represented a Russian publishing house in a complex dispute with a major Internet media outlet over use of the client’s trade mark. There were two court proceedings initiated between the parties (over termination of legal protection of the trade mark and compensation for illegal use of the trade mark), as well as FAS antitrust proceedings related to illegal use of trade marks. Owing to our contribution (and successful handling of the both disputes), the parties entered into an amicable agreement on terms favourable to our client.
Successfully represented the official BMW dealer in Russia in two major disputes over recovery of damages of RUB 61.6 trln and RUB 20 bn for infringement of rights to a trade mark. Within the scope of the first proceedings, we managed to cut the damages to RUB 240,000, and the second proceedings resulted in an amicable settlement on conditions very favourable to the client.
Successfully represented a major French seller of construction machinery in a dispute with a bank over payment of more than RUB 1 m under a bank guarantee.
Successfully represented MNPO SPECTR in a dispute over a cancelation fee for termination of contract for joint investment in the construction of the building.
Provided comprehensive advice to two major creditors in the Mezhprombank bankruptcy proceedings (an on-going project).
Successfully represented SANTEK in a number of disputes all over Russia initiated by a competitor of the client over use of the Golden Eagle trade mark.
Provided comprehensive advice and represented VOLKSWAGEN Group Rus in several bankruptcy procedures initiated with several dealers.
Successfully represented a Russian oil company in arbitration proceedings in the ICAC under the Chamber of Commerce and industry of the Russian Federation related to the recovery of damages arising from breach of an agreement for construction of an oil-well (the claim amounted to approximately USD 1.5 m); successfully enforced the arbitral award through inclusion of claims into the creditors’ register of the debtor.
Successfully represented a major Russian brewery in a dispute with another brewery over use by the latter of the packaging confusingly similar to that of our client.
Acted for the renowned Dutch architect Eric van Egeraat in disputes over copyright violation in international arbitration in Stockholm and Russian arbitration courts.
Representing a major gas equipment manufacturer (an on-going project) in two disputes over a supply contract in arbitration proceedings under the Rules of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
Advised a Russian aviation company on using intellectual property created in the USSR in construction of the aircraft.
Acted for a major European car manufacturer in a number of disputes over a supply contract (the ICAC under the RF CCI).
Represented a Panamanian company in enforcement of the ICAC arbitral award in Japan.
