Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner acts for Sovcombank on its partnering with a major cyber money issuer in Armenia


Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, formerly Goltsblat BLP in Russia, has acted for PJSC Sovcombank in connection with it entering into a financial services strategic partnership agreement with IDRAM LLC (jointly with CJSC IDBank) and Mobile Payments LLC.

The parties will cooperate to offer their Russian and Armenian clients ways to replenish their Sovcombank and Idram accounts and e-wallets. As the first stage, the parties have set up a new entity in Russia to develop innovative fintech solutions. The new company will focus primarily on projects for making bank transactions more convenient and simplifying the client to client transfer and payment technology.

The BCLP project team was led by Partner Ekaterina Dedova and Senior Associate Mikhail Filatov and included Elena Shelomenzeva, Associate, Corporate/M&A, and Anton Nefedev, Head of IP in Technology.
