Sergey Milanov Spoke at a session of Keidanren (the Japan Business Federation) and the RSPP (the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs)
On 18 February 2020, The Ritz-Carlton Moscow hosted the 16th joint session of the Economic Cooperation Committees of Keidanren and the RSPP. At these sessions the parties discuss tools for boosting Russia-Japan trade and ways mutually to improve the business environment for Japanese companies in Russia and vice versa.
Sergey Milanov, Partner, Head of Asia Practice at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, formerly Goltsblat BLP in Russia, presented arguments for concluding a treaty between Russia and Japan on mutual legal assistance in commercial and civil matters. For the benefit of the Japanese present, Sergey delivered his presentation in Japanese.
