Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner Russia advises Vezet Group on sale of its software and call centres to Yandex.Taxi


Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner Russia (formerly Goltsblat BLP in Russia) has advised Vezet Group on sale of its software and call centres to Yandex.Taxi. Vezet and MLU B.V. (Yandex.Taxi combined with Uber) signed the agreement on 15 July. 

The parties expect to close the deal by the end of 2019. It has already been approved by the supervisory board of Yandex.Taxi and the boards of Yandex N.V. and Vezet, and now requires clearance from the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.

Vezet operates in more than 120 cities in Russia and the CIS and is one of Russia’s leading taxi services by number of orders. Vezet’s existing shareholders will get up to 3.6% of the shares in Yandex.Taxi and up to USD 71.5 m, subject to the KPI and other indicators being achieved.
