Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (Russia) LLP shortlisted for the award in the special “Digital Economy” category

Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (Russia) LLP has been shortlisted for the special “Digital Economy” category of the award for its advice to Da Vinci Capital Management on subscription to Gram tokens during the second round of the closed Telegram Group ICO. The Fund invested USD 55 m in the cryptocurrency.

Placement of the TON (Telegram Open Network) platform is the biggest ICO in cryptocurrency history. The funds were raised according to the SAFT model: an investment contract between the developer and accredited investors. Considering the way the SEC is currently scrutinising ICO, this is the least risky model for institutional investors since such a deal does not break any of the financial rules. The Telegram ICO is the biggest non-public ICO following this model on the Russian market. So far, two of the three stages have been completed.

The Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (Russia) LLP project team, led by Ekaterina Dedova, Partner, Corporate / M&A, Head of ТМТ, included Ian Ivory, Partner, Head of Corporate for Asia, Oleg Khokhlov, Partner, Banking and Finance, and Dimitri Antipin, Senior Associate, Corporate/ M&A.

The winner is chosen by online voting and we invite everyone to take an active part:

The winner will be announced at the ceremony on 5 December at the Ritz Carlton Moscow.
