Roman Khodykin, Partner, International Arbitration, Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) has been appointed to serve as an alternate member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2018. The Court acts under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce.  Only two lawyers from each country are appointed to serve on the ICC International Court of Arbitration. Roman’s appointment to the ICC International Court of Arbitration is yet another recognition of Roman’s hard work in the field of international arbitration.  During his tenure, Roman will attend the plenary sessions of the Court and participate in work of various committees.

Roman Khodykin: "I am honoured to be appointed to the International Court of Arbitration which is a leading international arbitration centre in the world. I was previously part of the ICC task force “Arbitration with States and State entities” and look forward to working with other members of the Court in the future to make it an even greater success."

BLP’s Co-Head of International Arbitration, Richard Power, commented: "Roman’s appointment reflects his status as one of the brightest and most respected young international arbitration practitioners in the market. This is a wonderful opportunity for him and  BLP’s International Arbitration Group can only benefit from the experience he will gain at the International Court of Arbitration."

BLP’s global international arbitration team is made up of top lawyers, including arbitration partners practising in London, Moscow, Singapore and Abu Dhabi. The team is experienced in representing clients in international arbitrations in over 10 different jurisdictions.
