Goltsblat BLPis one year old today. It is precisely one year since Andrey Goltsblat and his team combined forces with leading British law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) to offer a new product on the market - the first Russian international law firm Goltsblat BLP.
Last year was far from easy for many reasons: the economic crisis has affected most companies, including clients of Goltsblat BLP, and this has undoubtedly also impacted on the consulting industry as a whole. Yet, in spite of this, Goltsblat BLP and its services have been in demand on the market. The firm is developing energetically and confidently. Our clients and projects are steadily growing in number. Goltsblat BLP’s clients include dozens of Fortune 500 companies, such as Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly-Clark, Nike, P&G and others.
Andrey Goltsblat, Managing Partner of Goltsblat BLP: “Above all, our success in 2009 is a result of our enthusiasm, team work and the innovative idea we developed ourselves and are now offering the market. It is the first time in the history that such a well-established Russian practice merged with a leading UK law firm. The main thing is, of course, our team itself, the professionals without which all this would be simply impossible.”
“I believe that the main achievement of the year was establishment of the company, the brand, and awareness of our company. The key thing is the loyalty of our clients, who have virtually all continued working with us this year, this being, of course, a major and very important achievement.”
BLP’s managing partner Neville Eisenberg added: “Goltsblat BLP has had an excellent first year. Despite the difficult economic environment, the team, led by Andrey, has demonstrated a huge commitment to the concept of providing our clients with this new combination of Russian and English legal expertise. The client endorsements help demonstrate that our strategy to grow the firm’s exposure in key emerging markets like Russia and the Middle East is producing results.”
