Russian Government caps charges for organisations storing registration and technical documents to provide extracts

17.12.2009

Legal Update No. 97

Goltsblat BLP advises that the Government of the Russian Federation has set an upper limit on charges for provision of extracts on buildings, structures, premises or projects under construction by organisations storing registration and technical documents pertaining to real estate at:

  • 500 roubles for individuals;
  • 1000 roubles for companies.

These extracts are needed for information about real estate registered with technical recording authorities but to which right of ownership has not been registered to be entered in the State Real Estate Cadastre before expiry of the transition period established for application of the Federal Law “On the State Real Estate Cadastre” (the deadline is set as 01 January 2010 but likely to be extended). Such extracts are issued instead of technical layouts of buildings, structures or projects under construction.

(Resolution No. 732 dated 14 September 2009 of the Government of the Russian Federation)
